Free Nutrition Facts label template.
Fill in the FDA panel of 21 CFR 101.9 with servings, calories, nutrients and % Daily Values, then print it.
How to print a Nutrition Facts label
-
01
Round your values
Take amounts per serving from your analysis, rounded as 101.9 asks: calories to the nearest 10 above 50.
-
02
Type values as printed
Add units to amounts (160mg); enter percentages without the % sign. Empty nutrients print no row.
-
03
Print at 100%
Set the number of copies: nine 53 × 84 mm panels fill an A4 sheet.
What is a Nutrition Facts label?
A Nutrition Facts label is the nutrient panel US law requires on most food offered for sale. FDA rule 21 CFR 101.9 fixes its rows, their order and the footnote. TEC-IT's template is a layout aid, not a compliance check: it prints what you type and calculates nothing.
What the US template prints
Servings (1), serving size (2) and calories (3) open the panel, then total fat to protein (4–13). Below a bar come vitamin D (14) to potassium (19) and free rows for more vitamins and minerals.
The type is smaller than the standard format asks: 6 pt nutrients and a 14 pt calorie number, where 101.9(d)(1)(iii) sets 8 pt and 22 pt.
Who needs a Nutrition Facts panel
Food offered for sale without nutrition information is misbranded under 21 U.S.C. 343(q), unless 101.9(j) exempts it. Small businesses should check the low-volume exemption in (j)(18), which has employee and unit limits.
Canada's Food and Drug Regulations require a nutrition facts table on most prepackaged products (B.01.401), normally in English and French.
Printing panels for a product range
Without an account, you fill in one panel at a time. For a product range, sign in free: one data-sheet row per product, all panels in one PDF.
TFORMer Designer adapts the template to a larger, tabular or bilingual panel. TFORMer Workstation prints it from CSV data, TFORMer Server from ERP systems.

What to enter in each Nutrition Facts row
TEC-IT's template prints no field numbers; 1–19 follow its rows from top to bottom. Captions are the printed words; the free vitamin and mineral rows print what you type, so they quote the editor input. Daily Values are those of 21 CFR 101.9(c) for adults and children 4 years and older.
