Transport Labels
VDA 4994 GTL, VDA 4902, Odette and AIAG B-10 from one template library.
Every OEM layers its own profile on top of the standard, and a supplier shipping to six customers needs six variants that all have to be right. TEC-IT keeps them as templates in one library, bound to the same delivery data.
Keep customer-specific label templates connected to the same delivery data.
VDA 4994 is the current Global Transport Label, while plenty of customers still demand VDA 4902. Odette publishes its own GTL profile, AIAG covers North America with B-10, and Bosch, VW and ZF each publish their own variant on their own timetable. Maintaining that in a drawing package means every OEM change is a redraw. TEC-IT keeps each profile as a template bound to the same delivery data, so a new customer is a new template — not a new process.

The common automotive transport and container labels: VDA 4902 (transport label / Warenanhänger), VDA 4994 GTL (Global Transport Label), VDA 4990 (KLT container label), the Odette transport label and AIAG B-10 for North America. Each ships as an adaptable TFORMer template.
No. Customer-specific variants are layout changes in the same template engine, not code. You copy an approved layout, adjust the fields the OEM specifies, and print from the same ERP data — no ABAP work, no printer-code rewrite.
Usually malformed data structure rather than a bad printer: a missing FNC1 separator or an incorrect Application Identifier decodes fine on a desktop scanner but fails the receiver's validation. Print quality per ISO/IEC 15416 is the second common cause — check module width and quiet zones at the real print resolution.
Yes. TBarCode/SAPwin adds the required symbologies to SAPscript, Smart Forms and ABAP output through standard device types and print controls, so labels print from the SAP data that already drives your delivery process.
