GS1 Standards
GTIN, SSCC and GS1-128 with the application identifiers and check digits handled for you.
A GS1 barcode is only correct if the application identifiers, the FNC1 separators and the check digit are all right — TEC-IT calculates them from your data so the symbol that reaches your customer's scanner decodes exactly as their system expects.
Generate application identifiers, separators and check digits from your data.
Variable-length application identifiers need an FNC1 separator in the right position. GTINs need a Modulo-10 check digit. An SSCC needs eighteen digits with the correct extension. Get one wrong and the symbol still prints, still looks fine, and still fails at your customer's goods-in. TEC-IT's barcode engine builds the data string from your fields and inserts the separators automatically — so correctness is a property of the software, not of the person who filled in the form.

Application identifiers, FNC1 separators and check digits are generated from the data automatically.
Module width, quiet zones and bearer bars are set for your printer resolution, so the symbol grades.
Standards, data and printing as one system.
GS1 application-identifier layouts are designed once and reused across every trade item.
Every AI string is checked against the GS1 General Specifications before it prints.
Send the same verified GS1 definition to physical printers, PDF workflows or an API response.
Every solution maps to proven, licensable products.
Creates GS1-128, GS1 DataBar and GS1 DataMatrix symbols with automatic FNC1 insertion and serial numbers.
Generates GS1 symbologies from your own code, with the current application identifier set.
Places GS1 barcodes on pallet, carton and logistics labels alongside the human-readable text.
Try any GS1 symbology in the browser before you license anything.
Standards engine
GS1-128, GS1 DataBar, GS1 DataMatrix and GS1 Digital Link from the same data model.
Codes that pass GS1 verification the first time.
Quiet zones, X-dimension and AI syntax are enforced by the engine, not the operator.
Every code is checked against the General Specifications before it leaves.
The same spec-true output on every printer and site.

A prefix that tells the receiving system what the following data means — (00) SSCC, (01) GTIN, (10) batch/lot, (15) best-before. Encoding them incorrectly is the most common reason a scannable code is still rejected.
FNC1 marks a GS1 symbol and separates variable-length fields. Omit it and the receiver reads one long, meaningless string. TEC-IT inserts FNC1 automatically according to the GS1 General Specifications.
GS1-128, GS1 DataMatrix, GS1 DataBar in its variants, GS1 Composite and GS1 Digital Link — with the AIs pre-defined rather than hand-assembled.
Check structure and print quality separately: structure via the AI encoding, print quality with a verifier against ISO/IEC 15416 (linear) or 15415 (2D). A phone camera confirms neither.
