Traceability
Lot marking, GS1-128 case labels and the scans that build a record you can hand to an auditor.
Food traceability comes down to one question asked under pressure: where did this lot go, and what else came from it? TEC-IT supplies the two things that answer it — a lot code applied consistently at every step, and validated capture at every handover.
Connect lot labels with the data captured from receiving to dispatch.
Receiving is on paper, production writes lot codes by hand, and the shipping record ties back to a pallet nobody scanned. When a recall or an audit lands, reconstruction takes days that the requirement gives you hours for. TEC-IT makes the lot code machine-readable from the moment it exists, and captures each receiving, transformation and shipping event as it happens — so the record is a query, not an archaeology project.
One labelling system for lot codes, allergens and best-before dates.
Nutrition, allergen and best-before layouts are designed once and reused on every line and co-packer.
Every lot, GTIN and date is checked against GS1 before it reaches the pallet.
Print jobs run per line with full status — on thermal printers, as PDF or via API.
Every solution maps to proven, licensable products.
Builds recipe-driven labels with lot codes, allergens and best-before dates.
Creates sharp EAN, GS1-128, QR and DataMatrix symbols for food labels and packaging.
Generates 100+ symbologies inside .NET, C++ and COM production applications.
Captures receiving, transformation and shipping events on a phone — including offline.
Farm to record
Lot codes at print, validated scans at each handover, one exportable record.
Print keeps up with the filler, not the other way round.
Each pack triggers its own label from the MES — no batch stops for a reprint.
Best-before and lot are computed per run, so nothing is pre-printed and wasted.
A new filler line prints the same approved layouts from the first pack.

For a logistic unit the mandatory element is the SSCC under Application Identifier (00). Batch/lot (AI 10), best-before (AI 15) and GTIN (AI 01) are added according to what your customer and traceability process require. TEC-IT encodes the AIs and FNC1 separators to the GS1 General Specifications.
Because batch and best-before data are printed from production data rather than typed, every case and pallet carries the lot identifier that links it back to the production record. That is what makes one-up/one-back traceability answerable within the time an auditor or authority expects.
Yes. The layout holds the design and logic; your ERP or batch system supplies the values at print time. No one retypes a lot number, which is where most traceability errors originate.
The software controls the encoding, dimensions and print quality; durability comes from the material and printer you pair it with. Because TEC-IT drives thermal-transfer printers natively via ZPL, you can use the ribbon and label stock rated for your environment without changing the layout.
