Output API
The programmable output interface: hand over layout and data, get printed labels, PDF or ZPL back – from your applications and services.
Output belongs in the workflow, not in someone's hands. The TFORMer API takes an approved layout plus your data and returns finished output: printed labels, PDF documents or ZPL streams – called from .NET, Java, C/C++ or the command line, on Windows and Linux.
Control TFORMer output through its SDK interfaces: select a layout, supply its data and choose the destination.
Pass a Designer layout and data; receive print jobs, PDF, PostScript or ZPL.
.NET, Java, ActiveX/COM, native DLL and CLI – server-side and unattended.
Layouts remain approved artifacts; the API only supplies data and destination.
The SDK interfaces handle the output.
Call TFORMer through .NET, Java, ActiveX/COM, a native DLL or command-line tools. These interfaces are part of TFORMer SDK.
Keep the label or form as a reusable artifact and pass its variable data from the calling application.
Select direct printing or a file format such as PDF or ZPL for each output job.
Reliable infrastructure
Business processes request output; approved layouts and your data produce compliant labels and documents automatically.

job.PrinterType = PrinterType.ImageJpg;
