BlueBooking: Data Sheet of Event Check-In Software

The check-in and event boarding software BlueBooking works with a variety of stationary or wireless barcode scanners, NFC/RFID readers and Android smartphones (see Google Play Store for the app Wireless Barcode Sanner).

Ranges

The range of stationary barcode scanners is limited by the maximum permitted cable length (e.g. 3 to 5 meters in case of USB). Class 2 Bluetooth™ scanners accomplish an operating range of 10 meters under optimal conditions. This range can be enhanced significantly with the use of Bluetooth™ class 1 devices. Please note that the ranges and the reliability of Bluetooth™ connections may be influenced by interferences with Wi-Fi systems. The range of a Wi-Fi system depends on the respective infrastructure.
