One layout. Changing data. Ready to print.
Create labels, forms and reports with TFORMer Designer, then fill them with the data for each job. The layout defines how information appears; the data supplies names, article numbers, quantities and barcodes.
From design to output
- Create a layout in TFORMer Designer or start with a template.
- Fill its data fields with manual entries, imported records or application data.
- Check the preview, then print or export the result.
Use data fields throughout the layout
Combine fixed elements, such as your logo, with placeholders for changing values. Data fields can be used in text and barcodes, calculations and formatting, image file names and conditions.
Print conditions and layout expressions keep output rules in the document design. The application can supply the same data to different layouts without rebuilding their appearance.
Connect your data
Enter values manually or import TXT, CSV and XML files or data through an ODBC connection. Preview the layout with actual data before output. TFORMer Workstation provides an operator interface for printing prepared layouts; TFORMer SDK connects them to your own software.
Print or export
Print directly through Windows printer drivers or use the preview. File output includes PDF, PDF/A and ZUGFeRD PDF/A-3, PostScript, SVG, HTML, raster images such as TIFF/PNG/JPG, ASCII and ZPL-II for Zebra printers.
Select the output for the job while keeping layout design separate from the data source.
Reuse and distribute layouts
A stand-alone layout is stored as an XML file. Repository-based layouts organize shared data fields and multiple document designs. Supply layouts and any external images to the runtime; TFORMer SDK can also work with packaged layouts or data supplied through ZIP, HTTP and Base64 mechanisms.
For application integration, use the SDK documentation for the supported input mechanism and platform.
