Applications like Microsoft Excel can't capture device data on their own. TWedge is the software wedge that fixes this: it collects data from connected devices and forwards it straight to your target application – as keystrokes, into databases, spreadsheets and files, or on to other systems.
Bring readings from scanners, scales and other devices into existing applications. Connect the device, adapt its data and send it where your team works.
TCP/IP, UDP, Bluetooth, serial and USB HID devices – forwarded as keystrokes or straight into databases, spreadsheets and files.
Preconfigured templates for common scenarios – and integrated scripting for everything else.
TWedge runs as a Windows service: unattended 24/7 capture that starts with the machine – no logged-in user needed. So does the free Smart Database Connector: it writes phone scans from Scan-IT to Office into any ODBC database.
Configure the connection, forward the reading and adapt it to the receiving field.
Capture data through supported USB, serial, TCP, UDP or Bluetooth connections.
Forward captured values as virtual keystrokes into the application your team already uses.
Use integrated JavaScript to clean, transform and process readings before forwarding them.
Reliable infrastructure
Device data is captured, validated by script and handed to exactly the application or database that needs it – interactively at the desk, or around the clock as a Windows service.
