Scan-IT to Office is a highly efficient solution for mobile data acquisition with smartphones and tablets.

Remotely collected data is instantly inserted into Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Sheets and Google Chrome. The new Scan-IT to Office Tools further expands the capabilities by transferring the captured data into any Windows / macOS application (e.g. ERP or inventory solutions) or database accessible via ODBC.

Data such as barcodes, images, GPS-locations or manual entries are captured with Android / iOS devices. Cloud services deliver the data in real time to target applications, databases, documents or spreadsheets on desktop computers. This works regardless of your location, even across multiple offices or countries.

The app is available as free demo or as paid subscription on Google Play and App Store. In addition, TEC-IT provides a special app version for bulk licensing. The complementary Add-Ins/Tools are free, choose between the Microsoft Office Add-In (Word/Excel), the Google Sheets Add-On, the Google Chrome Extension or the Scan-IT to Office Tools (for arbitrary Windows / macOS applications and databases).

Android™ Keyboard with Integrated Barcode, Text & NFC Scanner

This soft keyboard with integrated camera barcode scanner, text recognition engine (OCR) and NFC tag reader saves time, reduces typing effort and eliminates input errors.

The Scanner Keyboard scans barcodes, texts and NFC tags into any app - at the push of a button. Familiar keyboard functions are preserved. The integrated scanners are invoked with a single tap, the scanned data appears immediately in the target app as manually typed by the user.

The keyboard works with existing applications and is extremely easy to use. Barcodes can be scanned individually, selectively or in batch mode. Required prefixes and suffixes (e.g. simulation of the ENTER key) can be set. The keyboard is based on the standard Android keyboard and supports all relevant input languages, keyboard layouts, dictionaries and voice input features.

The app Wireless Barcode Scanner turns your Android device into a professional wireless barcode imager with outstanding communication features. The app is perfectly suited as cost-saving alternative for handheld barcode imagers; it scans and decodes common linear and 2D bar-codes swiftly and reliably.

Connectivity with arbitrary target systems is guaranteed. The scanned barcodes are available via Bluetooth SPP, TCP/IP and WebSockets (a WebSocket utilizes the direct communication between HTML5 web-pages and the barcode scanner app over TCP, additional software is not required for this purpose).

The app is ready for enterprise wide deployment and volume licensing. The configuration can be automatically imported from files, the use of cryptic configuration barcodes is past. The app can be licensed using Google Play, using TEC-IT's activation server (no Google account required) or via license files based on the device-ID.

Data Acquisition for Android™ Smart Phones and Tablets

Use GetBlue to automatically capture and collect device data with your Android™ smartphone or tablet.

GetBlue communicates with Bluetooth® devices like serial port profile (SPP) barcode scanners, TCP/IP servers or clients, serial USB devices, HTTP applications and third party camera scanner apps. The collected data is displayed, logged, stored, forwarded to Google Drive spreadsheets or injected as virtual user input into other apps (data acquisition via keyboard wedge). Manual communications functions are available as well. GetBlue is also able to proxy data between different devices and protocols (e.g. Bluetooth SPP to TCP/IP).
