New: TFORMer 8.7 with SVG-Output and "Welding"2024/03/05 | TFORMer V8.7 - BetaWe are pleased to announce the latest beta of TFORMer, our label and reporting software. Version 8.7 now additionally supports the SVG output format (Scalable Vector Graphics). SVG files can be displayed directly by browsers and are - as the name suggests - scalable without loss of quality. These Are the Highlights of Our Implementation: Size-Optimized SVG Files To keep the size of the generated SVG files as small as possible, all SVG files can be compressed by TFORMer (*.SVGZ). In addition, only the characters and glyphs actually required by the used fonts are included in the SVG output. Image files, with few exceptions, are embedded in the SVG file only once, even with multiple uses. QR and 2D Codes Are Output As Polygon Paths (“Welding”) Composite codes, QR codes, and 2D codes are output as polygon paths in the SVG (instead of individual squares or bars). This process is called "Welding" and is a prerequisite for "printing" codes with cutting machines, such as laser cutters. Word/Excel Barcode Add-In: TBarCode Office Service Update2024/01/25 | TBarCode Office V11.1.0We are pleased to present to you the latest update of our popular Barcode Add-In for Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. In addition to updating basic components, the following improvements have been made in TBarCode Office: Centered Barcodes and 2D-Codes in Excel In the Barcode Add-In for Excel, barcodes and 2D-codes can now be automatically centered in cells. PDF Encryption The new version 8.6 improves document security by generating encrypted PDF output files upon request. With this new update 8.5, we're introducing refined usability and improved Zebra® printer support. What's New? ZPL® Output The internal Zebra printer driver now reduces the job size by image cropping. Furthermore, we have added ZIP compression, which is now the default compression of the embedded image. Horizontal and vertical lines are no longer anti-aliased, and we also disabled anti-aliasing for image scaling. This improves quality and provides a more crisp printed image. Default Printer Based on customer feedback we have added the possibility to define an individual application default printer. You can choose between the system default printer, the last used printer and a user defined printer. Additionally you can save the last used directories for file outputs, images, form files and ZUGFeRD files. Label Design We added the ability to lock layers and components in the layout. Users cannot select or move them unless they are unlocked. Improved fine positioning of elements - the small-move value is now based on the tenth of the grid size (metric system). Data Formatting New formatting functions for RFID programming: AnsiToHex(), DecToHex(), TextToHex(). Print-To-File For quick debugging and testing purposes, the print job can be redirected to a file via an SDK print option. This option is also available in the print dialog.
