Barcode Software SDK Features

All Barcodes – all major linear, 2D and GS1 barcode variants - QR-Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, MaxiCode™, GS1 DataBar, GS1-128, EAN, UPC and more.

For All Printers – no special printers or hardware extensions (like barcode DIMMs or SIMMs) required.

Thermal Transfer Printers – you can use label printers with low output resolution (e.g. 203 dpi printers).

All Programming Languages – for all development environments: Visual Basic, VB.NET, VBA, VC, C++, C#, ASP.NET, Delphi, JS, VBS and HTML.

Barcode Quality – Draw directly to graphics objects or printer devices in the highest possible resolution. Enable DPI driven module width optimization.

2D Barcode Software Features

All Major 2D Codes – full support of QR-Code, Micro QR-Code, Data Matrix (ECC200), GS1 DataMatrix, PDF417, MicroPDF417, MaxiCode™, Aztec Code, Codablock-F.

Efficient Coding – The most efficient coding method (for instance Binary, ASCII, Bytes, Numbers, C40...) is selected and dynamically adapted to the data progress.

Full Implementation – All symbology-specific barcode modes (for instance ECI, EAN-128 Emulation, Industry Formats, Macro 05/06, Aztec Runes...) are supported without deduction.

Multi Language Support – Encode Asian character sets (e.g. Japanese, Chinese) in 2D bar codes like QR-Code. Unicode/UTF-8 support included.

Multiple Barcodes – The encoded data can be divided in several 2D barcode symbols. The barcodes are linked together with Structured Append.

Data Compression – Optional data compression (zlib) for best efficiency of 2D bar-coding. As a result you achieve a higher data density with less space.

Enhancements/Bug Fixes

Korean Postal Code
The new Korean Postal Codes with 5 digits (instead of 6) are now supported.
GS1 Application Identifiers
We updated the Application Identifier list to version 22.0 (2022) of the GS1 specification.
Pharmacode One-Track
Fixed a crash with Pharmacode One-Track when using custom colors.
.NET Support
- Now the setup contains a single TECIT.TBarCode.dll version, suitable for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows installations (target Any CPU with dynamic loading of dependencies).
- Added the new property BarShapeDefault to the Barcode class, which returns the default bar shape for the actual barcode type.
- The character 'Ø' is now displayed correctly in SVG files.
- We fixed a human-readable text rendering bug in rotated barcodes with composite symbols.
TBarCode OCX
- The TBarCode Library is now linked statically to the TBarCode OCX (avoids issues caused by loading the wrong version of TBarCode DLL).
- Added the option DRAW_PCLMode to allow users to change the PCL mode. This option is required for rendering Swiss QR Codes in PCL format correctly (set DRAW_PCLMode=1).
- Changed the font used in the property dialogs. On newer Windows systems, the property dialogs could become unreadable.
- Removed unneeded references to outdated versions of TBarCode OCX in some VBA samples.

Library dependency: We updated the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtimes (toolset) from version v140 to version v142.

Starting with TBarCode 11.15+ you should install/distribute the Visual Studio 2019 Runtime or the latest version from here (x86, x64).

Setup was a breeze, and the YouTube video tutorial clearly showed how to use the product in my MS Access database.
